How it works
Our filling flaps enable the container to be securely sealed off from the environment. A seal protects the sand in the sand container from moisture and contamination when closed. In order to be able to fill sand from the inside or outside, there is the option of an inside or outside filling flap or a combination of both. The use of a filling gun is also possible.
Types
The inner filling flaps are used to fill the sand container from the interior of the vehicle. When closed, the flap seal prevents the ingress of water.
The external filling flaps are used to fill the sanding system from the outside. It is designed for manual filling, but the use of a filling gun is also possible. When closed, the flap seal prevents the ingress of water.
The water filler flaps are used to fill the train with service water, e.g. for the windshield cleaning system. A removable filter is inserted into the filler neck. The opening is sealed and locked when the flap is closed.
